The lodge is only minutes away from the headquarters of the Volcanoes National park from where clients trek on foot to see the magnificent Mountain Gorilla. The lodge, situated in the foothills of the mighty Virungas, affords wonderful views of the volcanoes. The lodge is built and operated by Governors’ Camp and is owned by a Community Trust, which uses rentals from the lodge to drive socio-economic & conservation initiatives in the community.
